Spencer struggles to sign Vernon as a client when he clashes with his childhood friend Reggie who handles all his money. Just as Spencer reaches out to him with the job of a lifetime, Jason gets an interesting counteroffer from Joe, who's determined to bring his old partner down. Vernon has a tryout at an Esports company and Reggie bemoans his position at Sports X. Ricky turns to partying to deal with his depression. Charles considers what to do about Kisan.

With Sports X teetering on the edge financially, Joe gets jealous when Kate tries to woo an important editor at a launch party.
